Nubsy McNoodle Wanted A Poodle was officially launched in Melbourne on Wednesday 28th November at the Fitzroy Town Hall.
Nubsy McNoodle Wanted A Poodle was officially launched in Melbourne on Wednesday 28th November at the Fitzroy Town Hall.
It was a spectacular event catered to both adults and children.
The fun started with a children's organic, allergy-free indoor picnic under the balloon trees catered by Artisan Green eco-catering. The adults relaxed on the Adriatic Lounge as they sipped on a degustation of Orlando wines and devoured progressive gourmet delights prepared by The Press Club executive chef, George Calombaris.
The entertainment kicked off with a Grand Puppy Show. The two star dogs, Astro and Comet, performed clever tricks and danced to the Hokey Pokey while the children laughed and applauded.
Bud Tingwell soon followed narrating "The Story Behind The Story", where Zia Grace and the real Nubsy and Bullfrog (Jess and Zach) re-enacted the morning they wrote Nubsy McNoodle Wanted A Poodle.
The event climaxed with a wonderful book reading by "uncle" Bud to the audience. The crowd erupted, balloons popped and the children were cheering with delight. It was a great success.
